Trusted Technology Networks
A recently added service being offered, Trusted Technology Networks can be created and managed by ITF to fulfil the technology needs of a number of like-minded companies. Such networks are a gateway to further collaboration opportunities and could offer a safe and confidential mechanism for running activities such as:
- Technology meetings;
- Collating and defining common areas of interest;
- Working with vendors to identify, define and provide technology solutions
Still a new addition to the TSS portfolio, as an example, ITF is currently working to establish a Subsea Processing Trusted Technology Network to provide the forum for subsea technology issues to be discussed and solutions developed. Similar Trusted Technology Networks could be set up for any discipline area.
In the current challenging environment, many companies are resource constrained, but at the same time have a clear requirement for experienced technology resource to help them identify, prioritise and action technology solutions. ITF can provide that technology resource to fit a number of different scenarios, such as Project Management, Project Administration, Technology Secretariat and Knowledge and Network Facilitation.
ITF has provided technology resource to a number of operators and developer companies, in some cases to add extra resource and in others to fill a temporary resource gap. ITF has built a wealth of experience and technology contacts over many years, and is uniquely positioned to leverage this capability and provide technology resource or support. From administering Joint Industry Projects, to providing subject matter expert resource for the UK oil and gas regulator, to setting up and providing networking opportunities for overseas government trade mission visits, ITF has demonstrated this capability across a number of different projects.
